We’re so proud to announce that our LR-Drive has won a Product Design award in the Hardware and Building Category of the 2021 Good Design Awards!
The Grifco LR-Drive is considered the fastest of its kind with the capabilities to open a 2.4-metre-high door in only 21 seconds, and its motor and gearbox can lift roller doors of up to 28 square metres – unseen in the industry to date.

Grifco’s award-winning LR-Drive has been specifically designed for large and wind-locked roller doors and is ideal for shop front roller grilles thanks to commercial terminals that allow dedicated open and closing.
The LR-Drive is also equipped with Grifco’s innovative myQ technology which allows users to control their commercial or warehouse doors from anywhere in the world through their smart device. Users can also schedule to operate their door at certain times of the day, like setting up a schedule for the door to automatically close at a certain time each day.
The Australian Good Design Awards are one of the longest-running international design awards, promoting excellence in design and innovation since 1958.
Recognised by the World Design Organisation as Australia’s peak international design endorsement and promotion program, the Awards represent the diverse spectrum of design with 12 specific Design Disciplines covering more than 30 Categories and Sub-Categories.
