Grifco has formalised a partnership with Upsonic Power, the country’s leading supplier of UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) devices to distribute the popular ESAT20 model to the commercial and industrial door market.
“Our high level of service and expertise now extends to UPS units. This partnership will extend our comprehensive range of products, delivering convenience and real peace of mind to customers by protecting them from power outages,” explains Rodney Boag, Group Product Marketing Manager, Chamberlain Group Oceania.
“Safe and reliable door operation is a critical part of every building’s facilities. In the case of business operations, black-outs are not only inconvenient, they can result in both loss of income and reputation. For some facilities, the door simply cannot fail to operate,” adds Mr. Boag.
While power outages have become a feature of the hot summer months through grid overload; storms, accidents or building works can, and do, cause black-outs at any time.
“This partnership will streamline the ordering and installation process for customers who can now get a full door automation solution with power supply protection at the same time,” explains John Treimanis, Sales Manager at Upsonic Power.

The ESAT20 unit provides emergency door operation for Grifco’s single phase operators (max 1Hp).
